I dream of you and ice cream is a game about imperialism, the loss of identity and personal sacrifice.

A sinister, doll-like entity has enslaved all mankind. Inside the complex where, every day, the entity questions world leaders about aspects of humanity - a potentially lethal process - an old scientist of unspecified gender is building a machine.

Clinging to a few precious memories, with each passing day the scientist gathers components and toils on their obscure project, as the clock ticks relentlessly towards a horrifying climax.

I dream of you and ice cream is a point-and-click adventure game with a very simple interface and an emphasis on puzzle solving. For every two puzzles solved, players are rewarded with a partial solution which can be used in another puzzle.

There are no spoken lines or written dialogue in the game: Everything is communicated through speech bubbles, symbols and emotions.

The game will be available for the Nintendo Switch on June 17 2020 at the price of $4.99 USD. Preordering will be available on June 3 with a 10% discount. Touch as well as gamepad inputs are supported. Supported languages are English, German, French, Italian and Portuguese.

Congrats for this exceptionally compelling trailer! Really moving, reveals just as much as necessary to entice the thinking, adventurous, emotionally capable folk. Quite curious how much sociological, psycho aspects are involved, as its atmosphere seems to be so well established.

Also seeing, your 1st published game took 4 years to complete. You must have gained much quickness since then, to release a new title almost yearly, or you have perhaps colleagues to help?

Hopefully PC target will be on your horizon, too, or is it not a worthy platform anymore / for this genre ?

Don't know much about current pricing practice, especially on consoles, but methinks, after the trailer's impressions, it could be more expensive.

Looking forward to see / hear more info & video.

Hi,

Thanks for the feedback. 1st published game took 4 years since I also had a full-time job and making games was more of a side project. Certain genres like platformers or adventure games are less complex to make and thus require less time (I work every day though!)

The game will also be released on Steam, likely soon after the Switch release. It is a short game so it could't be much more expensive.
