Discussion How many cores can GM2 utilize when compiling?

I'm upgrading my PC, and I'd like to speed up GM compiling as a focus.

What should my primary concerns be, and if upgrading my processor, does GM2 have core limitations?

Bumbing this as it seems to doesn't work properly for me

I have 2 computers, one laptop and one powerful gaming rig i build with a i9 10900k.
The issue is that it seems like building for android YYC is faster on my old laptop.

When I check the core usage on the laptop, all cores are used almost to 100% while on my powerful computer it's just around 30% and only 3 cores looks to be really used.
Boths computers have the same settings, both computers use exactly the same sdk, ndk and jre environnement.

I've checked all the settings related to hyperthreading, performance modes etc.

Edit: Fixed! The issue was windows integrated antivirus.

Compilation time is now 9min instead of 55. Mindblowing improvements !
