GameMaker How do I do tilemap-based slopes in a platformer?

I've been looking through Google and this forum for the answer, but I just can't find what I seek- how do I do tilemap-based slopes in my platformer game? All tutorials I find for slopes are either the one by Mark, which apparently doesn't work for people anymore and even if it did, it's apparently slower than it should be due to being pixel-perfect, or require objects, which I can't use because my game needs a small hitbox for projectiles- plus, I just prefer tilemaps anyway. I've yet to find anything relevant to my situation, so any help/directions/advice you can give me would be much appreciated! I'm using GMS 2, v2.1.0.212. Would it help if I posted my current non-slope collision code as well, in case it might conflict in some way?
