SOLVED Help with Room transition

Following a Tutorial on youtube i made an object to go to the next room, whenever my character runs into it the game just freezes as if it has been paused.

How are you moving the object? Is it reliant on other factors, or is it just within the step event?

Also, are there any collision events, overlaps with other objects, etc.?

Do you have more info please?

Oh sorry i solved it on my own, i hadn't put the transition object into any rooms so the animation wouldnt play, which meant that acton of moving couldnt start either
