HELP * MOVE all of the same objects

Hi guys!
i need your help .
how can i make it so that all of the same objects can move when i click ?

i have an object which is the obj_messagebox but there should be several of this one on the room , but when i click on obj_buttondown it should move all of the obj_messagebox down.
i tried to put the obj_messagebox as a parent and created a new obj_messageboxchild and when i clicked on the obj_buttondown it would increase obj_messagebox( parent ).y but it is only moving one of the boxes....

any thoughts?

This should do the trick. "With" iterates through every instance under the parent

it must work, there must be things to prevent this from happening. Such as collision checks and y++ working at the same time as you do y--
