SOLVED HELP! Game keeps building

When I start running the game it just keeps building and the game won't start. It has been building for over 4 minutes... It won't stop unless I close Game Maker. I haven't added anything to the game or touched the settings since the last successful run. I tried reinstalling but it didn't change a thing. Any ideas?
 
Yep! Kyon is probally right! my sprites once changes into something else, when I cleaned the file up, everything was all right.
If not, Restart GM :)

No...Doesn't seem to work. It isn't just this one project, all the other ones are doing it too. It even happens when I create a new project.

That's an interesting user name choice if I ever saw one.

Four minutes is not a long compile time at all... unless this happens with an empty or nearly empty project. Does it happen with an empty project?

While we're on that topic... they also said they reinstalled. 😅 Welp.

Does anything appear in the output log when you start the compile? If so, please post it.

Welp, I finally was able to download the newest version of GM (had some problems with that too) and that seems to have fixed the problem.
