help - animation starting on wrong frame when changing objects

    hello, I am new to gamemaker studios and I have a problem where when I change instance to another object that sprite will start on the wrong frame of the animation half the time, if anyone can help me fix this problem it would be much appreciated.
    things to note. I'm using DnD for my game so if possible I'd like to avoid code for now

    In the create event of the object you change to put:

    image_index = 0;

    Also, this is a programming question. This forum board is more intended for questions like "how do I give my character an unique silhouette?" or "how do I negotiate with a publisher?".
