Having problems installing old version :(

Sorry if this has been mentioned a lot on this forum, anyway:
I have both GMS versions GMS2 and GMS 1.4, but after having to format my HD I had to reinstall. GMS2 is working, but I'm having problems with GMS 1.4 installing and running. After I choose to run the beta version it takes forever and comes back with an error about not being able to install modules. If I choose to run the stable version even weirder things happen. I'm not sure what the problem is exactly ?_?

Example of the error:
The following modules could not be downloaded:
Android
Pro
Mac
Windows8
Linux

Check your internet and restart GameMaker: Studio to retry. If problems persist, then contact http://help.yoyogames.com

I checked the help area, can't find a contact and it won't keep me logged in for some reason...

That would be the "Submit a request" link at the top that leads you to the contact form.

This may be related to the ongoing server issues:

If so, this will resolve itself whenever that gets resolved and there is nothing else you need to (or can) do.
