Mac OSX GMS2 Mac YoYo Runner Process High CPU

Hi All,

I am running the current trial version of GameMaker Studio 2 on the Mac. So far I really like it, but one thing I noticed is that when running a game the YoYo Runner process consumes 80% CPU. This happens even on a completely empty project. Just to clarify, this is not compilation or the ide, but the actual process running the game.

Is this typical for the Mac version? It seems quite extreme to me.

Interestingly, this does not happen when connected to an external 4k monitor, it only happens on the MBP screen (15" 2019).
