HTML5 GM2 - File Resists Clearing Cache, works in Incognito

    I've noticed that a file that will occasionally be replaced that my games read is "sticky". Clearing cache doesn't seem to get rid of the old version (must still be cached by the browser somehow). Things work fine when running in Incognito mode (Chrome). Anyone have a good fix/work-around for this?

    One thought I had was to avoid the problem altogether by doing an http_get on the file. This raises a different and interesting problem. The code will be hosted as a SCORM project in a Learning Management System (LMS). This means that the URL is not one I can know in advance, and may potentially change from time to time. I can get url_get_domain to determine part of the path (URL) for the file, but not the remainder. In native JS I could call window.location.href or equivalent in order to get the URL for use with http_get_file, but I know of no way (sans extensions) to do this in GML. Ideas?
