Hi everyone, I'm try to understand little bit more of the box2d inside GM but I'm here for ask u one thing I still not understand properly, basically I have my object and I apply to it a local_force on the X axis and because it has some restitution it jump little fit so I can little fly on air and little turn, and if turn to the sky make it fly. What I try to do is to draw the force is subject my object and the amount of force inside the drawing event of it.
with the line of code
I show correctly the line and where my plane is turned and scaled of the amount of thrust (incremental of step of +1) , what I want to do is draw the force increasing on the relative X of the object and on the relative Y too, and the combination of both and if my object bounce I want to draw the amount of force is subject for restitution too.
I tried to use the phy_linear_velocity but probably I'm wrong so if any have some suggestion please help will be usefull. Thank you all !
with the line of code
Code:
draw_line_colour(x,y,x + cos((phy_rotation*pi)/180)*thrust,y+sin((phy_rotation*pi)/180)* thrust,c_white,c_white);
I tried to use the phy_linear_velocity but probably I'm wrong so if any have some suggestion please help will be usefull. Thank you all !
