GameMaker Updater Stuck After Reinstall

I'm currently having a problem where, after uninstalling and reinstalling, the GameMaker updater is stuck on "Preparing for download...". Does anyone have a fix for this? I don't want to use steam because my android Export plugin is linked to my regular account, and not my steam one.

EDIT:
So after reinstalling again, the installer is just broken for me, as in it won't even open for me anymore. I'll try to download again to see if that works.

EDIT 2:
Second download has the same problem as before, it's still stuck on "Preparing to download...".

EDIT 3:
After another full reinstall and a restart on my machine, everything is working again. Sorry for the trouble.
