SOLVED Gamemaker Studio 2 destroying all code for object

Hi! I'm relatively new to Gamemaker, and I've been making an RPG. However, the object I'm using to represent the inventory is being removed from the game's code whenever I close the game. I'm always remembering to save, so what am I doing wrong?
I'm using the most recent version and I have a licence that means there's no resource limit (that I know of, and 34 assets is a strange limit).
Also, when I create the object, it isn't recognised by the rest of the game.

EDIT found the solution, it had duplicated something else randomly
