Game Maker Studio lagging?

Hey, this sucks a lot. Ever since my game started to get more serious with lots of rooms and objects, the STUDIO itself (not the game) started lagging, like really badly, whenever i create a new object for example, typing the name of the object takes forever because it's literally lagging that badly, compiling takes forever as well. I tried to start a new project and there was no lag at all, so what do i do now?

yeah. reboot is the only option. and dont browser with chrome

Fixed with quick reinstall, It was getting really bad lmao even at startup it said something like "Out of memory"

The studio IDE is pretty bad with lag specifically in the room editor even in my desktop (not crazy, but should be able to handle the room editor) it tends to lag on a more full room (though less so than on the crummy acer laptop I've been using).
