Hi all, I have a quick question about the Japanese game dev scene.

Is Game Maker Studio widely used in Japan? Does the engine have a presence amongst Japanese devs?
If so, I wanted to ask if there are any forums or online communities for Game Maker Studio used by Japanese devs in particular (can be communities run in Japanese).

I need this information because I'm trying to get an idea of what the indie game scene is like in Japan.

Not sure how many people use Game Maker in Japan, but there are some.
There is not much Game Maker information available in Japanese unfortunately.
