Needed: Artist, Composer. Payment: Percentage of campaign proceeds if successful. Potential further compensation to help finish the game if we work well together. I would also appreciate additional help for other positions both pre and post campaign but payment for these other positions would be percentage of gamesales on launch. This is especially true for programmers with experience with online multiplayer. This offer has a few risks. I have done as much as I can to mitigate these risks. I cannot guaranty payment until the end of a successful campaign. As an indie dev working solo on publishing my first project I do not have the funds to hire an artist or composer but I also believe in compensating people for their work. I would of course be willing to give you a portion of the proceeds of a successful campaign as well as additional payment to help me with the rest of the project if we work well together. If the campaign fails the first time I will polish the game and relaunch the campaign until its successful. An additional risk is that I am unpublished. I have been working with Gamemaker for at least 10 years. I have used it for college projects and game jams but have not attempted publishing a game at this point. However I have mitigated the risks as I am finished with college and have quit my job so I am working on this full time. The game is a top down rouge-lite dungeon crawler. The combat is a bullet hell utilizing twin stick mechanics. Progress is made by buying upgrades and finding new loot. The visual aesthetic is steampunk as I feel it is a under utilized aesthetic that has always been a huge inspiration to me. More information on the game is available on request. Game Doc is available to those who I believe fit the project. If your still interested here is some information on the game and assets I need done. Composer: 50 - 60 seconds of music. The music should be quick with a strong beat. Should convey the steampunk aesthetic i.e. Gears grinding, steam escaping, metallic banging, etc. Artist: Sprites for the player and three enemy types featured in the commercial. These will all be 2-4 frames. Projectiles sprites for the player and enemies. Beta level tile set for the dungeon walls and floor. Splash screen. While not required I would also like two pieces of concept art of mine redone to be marketing appropriate. One will be of one of the colossal enemies found in game and the other of the games hub. Additional assets may increase the chances of the campaign succeeding and receive additional compensation when the campaign succeeds. *If you can fill both roles I will also increase the percentage you will receive from a successful campaign. Two years after learning the basics of C++ and Java I participated in a game dev camp where I first began using Gamemaker Studio. I have worked with it in my spare time for the last ten years. About a year ago I started working on the Steampunk Depths project. However I was working at the time and progress was slow. That's when I decided I wanted to follow my dream of being an indie dev. I quit and began working on this at least 8 hours a day.
