Hi, I'm a fresh new user on GMS2 in try period, I'm on MAC and I have a problem since 2h when I want to launch any project : FAILED: Run Program Complete

I've tried to change the runtime and it's the same problem :/


I was thinking it can be an error in my first code, so I've created a new project, launched it : it's ok it work, but if I add just a sprite : same probleme again, really strange, no code at all just a sprite


(I've tried to reinstall the mono.framework from the yoyo website and it still don't work, so I really don't know what to do now if someone know an issue

Yep and nothing change unfortunately :/ Or maybe I must activate it somewhere after install ? Or really uninstall the old one and reinstall ? (but don't know how to uninstall the mono)

I'm not sure as I don't use the Mac IDE, but uninstalling everything and starting again from fresh would be the route I'd go.

Check the information related to Mac in the Required SDKs Guide to make sure you are using the correct versions of GMS2, xCode and Mono.
Also have a read through the Setting up for MacOS Guide to make sure you have everything setup correctly.

Hopefully another Mac user can chime in on any specifics with regards to the Mac IDE as I don't use it.

Just to be sure, XCODE is necessary only if I want to publish on mac and IOS ? Or it is absolutely necessary to use GMS as a library like directx or frameworks on windows ? (Not sure if I say stupid things haha)

For example the problem is I have not that at all, just "test local VM default" :


For the moment I use it on my PC but it's a bit annoying because I make the graphic elements on my mac (and it's cool to develop in the sofa :D)
 
I got a SIGSEGV error on Mac by using a relative path for App Output folder in Mac game options setting. Changing to an absolute path solved the problem.
