Linux Export for Linux without having a Linux machine?

Hi everyone, I'm gonna releasing a new version of my game on IndieDB on the first days of August and I would like to make a version even for Linux machines. My problem is that I absolutely have no experience with Ubuntu and neither another computer on which install it.

My plan was to create a live usb with the latest Ubuntu stable build and try my game on my only computer simply switching from the two operating system rebooting the computer.

Is it possible to export for Linux without having connected GameMaker to a Linux machine?
