Error messages are too incomplete. What does this message mean?

Hello! We need some context. What is the game? What are you doing? What is the code or DnD that is throwing the error?

Hi,
when i use GMS 1.4 for export a game to Android, i get this error : Execution failed for task ':com.home.Maze:compileReleaseJavaWithJavac'.
in GMS 2.3 i get this error : The given key (email) was not present in the dictionary.

Can you post the full (GMS2) output log and not just the single line with the error please? And is this exporting to Android in GMS2.3 too? Or some other platform? If it's Android, have you filled out the KeyStore correctly? Have you set up the SDK, NDK, Prefs and Game Options correctly? Do other projects compile okay? Does an empty (new) project compile okay? Please give as much information as possible when posting. ;)

Just a note, if you want to sell a commercial or free game on the Google Play Store, this is not possible due to the fact that the store is only compatible with x64 applications. (since 2019)

Now answer these:
And is this exporting to Android in GMS2.3 too? Or some other platform? If it's Android, have you filled out the KeyStore correctly? Have you set up the SDK, NDK, Prefs and Game Options correctly? Do other projects compile okay? Does an empty (new) project compile okay? Please give as much information as possible when posting. ;)

Wait, all the error messages you posted previous, including one screenshot, show you were using GameMakerStudio 2 which I'm assuming you have a licence for, but now you say you are using GMS 1.4 and are stating that you do not use GMS2?

Stop posting about GMS 1.4 in a forum section clearly marked for GMS 2. The SDK requirements for GMS 1.4 are not the same as GMS 2.3.

Also, if you want to publish on Google Play, you must stop using GMS 1.4 now. It cannot export the 64-bit APK packages that Google Play has been requiring since August 2020.

Now, make up your mind and use only one of the two versions, then use only the appropriate support section for it. DO NOT open any more duplicate topics.

I can repeat the same thing I said in my previous post as the answer has not changed, or you can accept that you have no other options and move on.

If you want help with GMS 2, state so in this topic.
If you want help with GMS 1, use your existing topic in the Legacy support forum (assuming it is about the same issue).
