Dragging the IDE from a non-retina monitor to and from a retina monitor

When dragging the IDE that booted up on my retina screen and then dragging it onto my other non-retina monitor, everything is really zoomed in. Any way to fix this without having to close the IDE and open it again with the mouse active on the monitor I want it on?

Yep this bug has existed for millennia. Even dragging from my iMac's 5k display to a secondary 4k display can sometimes demolish the scaling. Basically GMS2 is a single monitor application and does not like being moved

OMG I finally found a solution that works for me... if you right click the GMS2 app and select "Get Info" there is a checkbox to open the app in low resolution (effectively non-retina). Check this box. I can now drag the IDE between my 2 monitors (a MacBook Pro 2017, and a 1080p external monitor) and the IDE maintains consistent scaling.
