Legacy GM Does GameMaker:Studio Support PNG Sprite Sheets?

Hi,

So we are working now on our last GameMaker:Studio game now HERE (no install HTML5 Internet version).
We would like to add animation the the little black wizard in the game now.
Does GameMaker:Studio support any type of PNG animation sprite sheets?
Is there some tutorial somewhere which explains how to do sprite animation easily?

When this game is done we are switching over to Unity3D.

Yes it does support Animation From SpriteSheets which are PNG.

Goto Sprite Editor (Create new empty Sprite)
Goto File->Create From Strip

There you go.

If you need a tutorial to import a PNG into Game Maker Unity3D is not going to help you much.
