Discussion Deleted GMS2 due to startup error, won't redownload because it's "already installed"

I deleted GMS2 recently due to a startup error that caused the program to stop responding. To fix the problem, I deleted all program files of GMS2 and attempted to redownload the program, but when i start the installer, it says "Game Maker Studio 2 is already installed. Click 'OK' to remove the previous version or 'Cancel' to cancel this upgrade." Yet whenever I click 'OK', it just closes the window and nothing else occurs. I have even checked my processes to see if the program was just running in the background, but the installer wasn't active and I'm unsure how to fix the problem. If anyone knows how to fix this problem, your help would be greatly appreciated.GMS2 Error.PNG
