GMS 2 Custom font is not displayed correctly


Make sure you are loading it in at a valid font size. GM creates sprites based on the size you choose to load the font with.

I've had better luck drawing my fonts to a surface at the proper scale and then letting the surface get scaled rather than the font.

In the end I had to use a smaller font size and the text are displayed normally now. I was using a font size of 100 for some text, but turned out the font was created with a maximum size of 80. As long as the font size is smaller than or equal to 80, the text shows up normally.
