Question - IDE ctrl+f does not work in debugger script view

If a script is being viewed in the debugger script view, the function for ctrl+f does not work.
I'm curious to know if there's any particular reason why? The ability to edit the script is possible (once the game's execution is stopped), but the ctrl+f functionality is not.

It's my thought that having the debug script be editable (with all the text formatting) implies that it should be functioning as the normal script editor does.
