When I convert my project from GMS 1.4 to 2, my tiles are put into compatibility layers. Each compatibility tile layer has hundreds of tile layers within them. Thus, my maps are incredibly slow and there is not much I can do, because even placing an object takes up to 10-15 seconds. Is there anyway to convert these compatibility tile layers into normal layers, or any way around this?
