Question - IDE Code editor font styles - only "Use default" available?

I wanted to make keywords like "if, while, else" bolder, as it was in previous GM:S, and GM. So I've opened Preferences, Code Editor part, and there is "Style" option. However, it have only "Use default" option, I cannot force to make it bold, italic or whatever. I can only change this option, when I change "Font name" to the same as in "Default", and then I can make this bold.

Why those options are displayed then, if they cannot be changed ? Shouldn't it be, that I can only change size/style without changing font family?
