Decided to go with something different

What im doing is Drawing a picture, scanning it into my computer cleaning it up and that will be my sprite, but I want to hear others thoughts on the style

Which is better Colored or no color?

These where put through a filter to give it a more cartooned finish

Im going for a toonish kind of style, this pod is just a test so please forgive the bad lines, but which do you think is the best or which ones you like the most, and/or if you have any ideas or suggestions I'd appreciate it immensely
Thanks!

Personally I prefered the colored version, unless you are going for a no color game like your character going trough a cartoon strip

Remember that episode of spongebob where the nasty drawing comes alive.
This reminds me of that, and I like it.
