Question - Code Changing Animated Tile Speed

Hello,

Is there any way to change the speed of an animated tile in gml?

For example, I want to start with a tile animating say 8 fps and then change to 16 after an event.

At the moment it looks like I have to switch all tile animations to sprites in order to do that.

No, tables are created at compile time in order to allow different animation lengths.

You'd have to duplicate the animation frames into the tilemap, then change the tile(s) so that it uses the new tile/animation.
