Change .yyp files back to .gmx files

When I switched over to GM:S 2, I deleted my .gmx files after converting them to .yyp files.
Is there any way I can change them back? I like GM:S 1 better.

There isn't, the formats are not compatible. Furthermore, the importer in GMS 2 changes your code and adds compatibility scripts, so the result of that is not compatible either.

Let this be your lesson to make backups before major migrations and put a damper on your delete button trigger finger.

While it would be possible for someone to make a tool that would convert from GMS2 format back to GMS1 format, the amount of work required to do such a thing would be pretty extreme, and thus it's unlikely that it would ever be made - even more so considering that GMS1 support ends soon.

So... yeah. Be careful next time. If you don't like panning around workspaces much, maybe you'd like GMEdit.
