Due to me not being able to update today, Night 2 will be extended by a day and will end on Wednesday 10th May.

I also have not seen any night actions submitted at all. If you wish to use them, use them DX.

Day 3 starts

"Well that seemed to be a rather quiet night" the dealer comments, completely ignoring the lack of Misu's presence.

Before he can go any further, a voice echos out from what sounds like a PA system: "Roy is the mafia."

"I suppose we'd best go check on our missing number then." The dealer says reluctantly, it seems he thinks Misu is playing tricks with the PA system.

But Misu is found in his room, dead as a doornail. The dealer sighs, before signaling to some of the casino staff.

"We should head back, I don't know who caused that message, but it's really not my concern."

When you get back to the table, the dealer deals cards to the remaining 4 players, and then turns over the next card in the Region Deck.

Atlantis: Role and alignments flip on death.

The entire table seems to have been plunged into the depths, with many ruins scattered around the seabed. The ruins are largely abandoned though.

There are 4 players alive, it takes 3 votes to lynch. Day 3 ends on May 17th.

Cards are have been dealt out.

What the hell, MIsu? That's a rather rude thing to say. I, for one, am a bit confused, as the title says Night 3 and last I heard we were in nighttime. But that doesn't mean I don't care about this game.

OH! My mistake, I updated the title's number but didn't change the Night to Day. How I didn't notice that...

In which case, I'll be extending the day to treat it as if it started from this moment, so Day 3 will end on 20th May.

I was saving this, but since nothing much was happening, I'll go ahead and use it.

-Dog's Chance
Public Day Card: Draw a card. If this was your last card, draw two instead.

((Can I rename this day to the day of me making mistakes, I handled the card and had this all ready, but forgot to actually post it.))

The dealer simply deals Mercerenies a card.

Votals:
Mercerenies (1): Roytheshort
Roytheshort (0):

YOU FOOLS, MERC IS THE MAFIA. YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW SMUG I'LL BE WHEN I SAY "HA HA, I WAS RIGHT. YOU'RE ALL STUPID." CAN YOU REALLY DEAL WITH THAT LEVEL OF SMUG? IF YOU AGREE WITH ME AND I'M WRONG THEN I'M THE IDIOT. THINK ABOUT THIS.

And with a swift vote for himself, Roy gasps as something grabs him from below.

Next moment he is pulled under the table, two cards are left behind.

"Roytheshort was the Town's Card Dealer. He could discard a card at night to be dealt another one publicly at the start of the day. He had no maximum hand size." The dealer infers from the two of them.

It is now Night 3. Night 3 ends on May 20th.

Oh my, Sorry! I've been very busy this last week. I haven't had much time to check in here.

Okay, the PA system thing was based on a role I had before, I believe, as was the dog's chance card merc used. There's always the possibility that Merc had another one, but if he gained the card that I lost, I'm inclined to beli9eve he gained the PA card as well. So i'm going to Vote: Mercerenies

Edit: It's night. Crap.

Night 3 ends.

The dealer greets Amusdan and Mercienies as they return from their lodgings. There is still somone missing, Shawn Basnett.

The dealer doesn't even bother to go looking. "I expect Shawn Basnett has met the same fate as Misu did." At that moment a paniced attentendant enters the area.

"We've found another body." The attendant doesn't even bother whispering to the dealer, he obviously heard the Dealer's remark.

Shawn Basnett was the Town's Scavenger, once per day he could publicly claim a card discarded publicly, but he couldn't use this on two sequential days.

Mafia Wins.

Event Log:
Day 1:
Roytheshort uses 3 cards, Green Injection on himself, protecting from a nighttime death, Red Injection on Mercernies, preventing him from drawing cards until the next morning (note this also prevents the normal deal) and then his Doubler Card making his next vote count as two.
amusdan activates Ancient Map, changing the Region, it's treated as Plains until he chooses to reject it a while later.
Mercerenies uses Sunfire revealing Roy's remaining Parley card.
amusdan rejects Shifting Sands, causing Card Bank to take effect.
Shawn uses his Ender Eye card targeting Roy, Merc and amusudan, revealing the Detective card from amusdan and claiming Merc's dog's chance.
(Interestingly Storyteller was being honest about the Green Injection card, and he had one in hand, although this eventually gets him lynched.)
Storyteller gets lynched.
Night 1:
Merc uses Detective to add a Ender Eye card to his hand. (This was not a draw and was not affected by Red Injection.)
Misu uses a Banjo to protect himself.
The mafia decide to nightkill Shawn, triggering his Bodyguard card.
Day 2:
Each living player is dealt a card, excluding merc due to red injection.
An interesting combo of cards exists after amusdan grab bags onto Shawn, amusdan draws a Shiv and a Collector card, Shawn gains an enevlope card, and Roy has the legendary Eclipse Card, today seems to be interesting... This also caused the dealer to fumble a special card onto the table.
amusdan gets a card from the dead
Merc uses Ender eye, revealing Misu's Divination Seance and keeping a Shiv card from Amusdan.
Shawn uses the Joker special card, using a card on each player. He also gave Shawn a Bomb card. ((There were several options here, and just my luck rng picked the only one that didn't matter about what cards were resolved first.))
Roy uses Eclipse, letting night cards be used during the day.
Amusdan uses his shiv card on Misu.
Mercencies uses Envelope to send Roy the Bomb.
Town actually had a way to win after this, if the shiv (either Amusdan's or the Joker's) had landed on Merc, or he had been forced to discard the Bomb that was swapped into his hand along with Blood Packs from the Joker's Slick Hands before he envelope'd it to Roy, blood packs couldn't have saved him from the lynch. As it stood, merc's blood packs saved him from the lynch. Misu unluckily got both, but survived due to his role. Yellow Injection caused Amusdan's next card drawn to be duplicated.

Night 2:
The mafia decides to nightkill Misu.
Mercerenies uses the Remote card to broadcast "Roy is the Mafia"
The bomb is randomly reallocated to Mercerenies.

Night Day 3:
I accidently type this as Night 3, causing unintentional shenanigans, but all that happens in the end is Roy getting lynched.

Night 3:
The mafia decides to nightkill Shawn Basnett.
Merceries uses Recycler to create a copy of Detective to then create a Green Injection.
Roles, and final hands:
Mercerenies:
Mercerencies, you are the Mafia's Deck Rigger. On an even night you may rig the deck. To do this declare a card rarity, that rarity is more likely to be drawn the next time you draw a card. Card Rarities are: Common, Uncommon, Rare and Legendary You win when nothing can stop you from killing all the townspeople.
Final Hand:
-Bomb
Passive Twilight Card: This card will trigger when you are forced to discard it. If you are forced to choose cards to discard, you MUST choose this as one of those cards. This card jumps to a random player's hand at the start of each day, and does not count towards your maximum hand size. You cannot opt to discard this to a role or in order to activate a card.
Special Card
-Dog's Chance
Public Day Card: Draw a card. If this was your last card, draw two instead.
Common Card.
-Redirector
Private Night Card: Target any two different players. Actions targeting one instead target the other.
Common Card.
-Parley
Private Twilight Card: Target a player, they are offered the opportunity to see a card in your hand. Should they accept, one of their cards is also revealed to you.
Common Card.
-Green Injection
Public Day Card: They See: Target a player, inject a fluid into them. You See: Target a player, they are protected from death that night.
Uncommon Card.
Roytheshort:
Roytheshort, you are the Town's Card Dealer. You have no maximum hand size. You can discard a card at night to be publicly dealt an extra one at the start of the day. You win when all threats to the town are eliminated.

Final Hand:
-Slick Hands
Public Day Card: Target a player, swap your hand with them.
Common Card.
-Parley
Private Twilight Card: Target a player, they are offered the opportunity to see a card in your hand. Should they accept, one of their cards is also revealed to you.
Common Card.
amusdan:
amusudan, you are a third party Card Sharp. You can discard pairs of Cards that have the same name. You win when you manage to do this 5 times. (Sorry about this, I was slightly off here on targeting a comfortable place, I were a little high as I only saw 3 total oppertunerties for you to actually discard a pair of cards.)
Final Hand:
-Moonfire
Private Night Card: Target a player, this night, that player's used cards are instead discarded for no effect.
Rare Card!
-Collector
Public Day Card: Name a card. Should it exist, it is added to your hand.
LEGENDARY CARD!
-Detective
Private Night Card: Name a card. Should it exist, it is added to your hand. This card cannot create cards rarer than itself.
Uncommon Card.
Shawn Basnett:
Shawn Basnett, you are the Town's Scavenger. Once a day, when a card is publicly discarded, you may publicly call "Muggins <card name>", claiming it for yourself. You cannot use this role on two sequential days. You win when all threats to the town are eliminated. ((Shawn actually got dealt Bodyguard and Blood Packs in his opening hand.))
Final Hand:
-Slippery Fingers
Public Day Card: Target a player, they must choose one of their cards to discard.
Common Card.
-Dog's Chance
Public Day Card: Draw a card. If this was your last card, draw two instead.
Common Card.
-Shiv
Private Night Card: Target a player, kill them.
Rare Card!
-Broken Fingers
Public Day Card: Target a player, they must choose two of their cards to reveal and discard.
Uncommon Card.
((Shawn had a way to force a draw, or win for town had Merc targeted Amusdan. His shiv card could have killed Mercienies))
Misu:
Misu, you are the Town's Card Waller. Any attempt to kill you instead forces you to discard two cards from your hand. If you cannot do this, you die as normal. This role will only kick in if nothing else can save you from death. You win when all threats to the town are eliminated.
Final Hand:
Empty (his hand was force discarded by the two Shiv's he ended up tanking)
Storyteller:
Storyteller, you are the Town's Balancer. Each night you may target a player. Should they have more cards than you do, you will steal one at random. Be aware if your target has less cards than you, the effects are reversed. You win when all threats to town are eliminated.
Final Hand:
-Moonfire
Private Night Card: Target a player, this night, that player's used cards are instead discarded for no effect.
Rare Card!
-Remote
Private Night Card: You may send a message that is anonymously broadcast in the morning.
Common Card.
-Flashlight
Public Night Card: They See: Target a player, place them in the spotlight. You See: Target a player, their night actions are revealed publicly at the start of the day.
Uncommon Card.
-Green Injection
Public Day Card: They See: Target a player, inject a fluid into them. You See: Target a player, they are protected from death that night.
Uncommon Card.
((I feel sorry for Storyteller, he was only trying to help, but the way he went about it got him lynched. His attempt to use green injection to save himself wouldn't have worked as it does NOT protect from a lynch.))

Final Thoughts:
There is a strange concurrence with the old Card Game Mafia games this was based on. Early on, lots of card usage, and I were hopeful for this to actually work out as a fairly even game, but there was much less discussion and activity and Day 2, and pretty much none on Day 3. That said, Town had several times where they could have won, or even just forced a draw. This was the reason the game didn't end on Roy's Lynch. Town still had a way to kill the mafia, and had they also gone for amusdan, it'd have been a town victory.

Not trying to be a dick, but I enjoy regular mafia much more, I found it rather confusing and because of that I didn't have enough interest to continue posting.

That's a fair comment amusudan. I do admit I pegged your win goal too high, but other than that I felt Town and mafia were fairly evenly matched. I don't know what the others thought about this though.

I definitely enjoyed this, as I enjoyed running People's Mafia. But I do agree that a straight, open-setup vanilla mafia would be fun next, if someone was willing to host it.

I knew he was Mafia, I told you all. You're all stupid. Especially Merc, why didn't you vote for yourself? God. Roy is stupid too, he lynched himself. What an idiot. Rougebare is an idiot for not voting at all.
