Legacy GM Can't seem to include key additional characters in my fonts.

Hi there.

I'm trying to include en-dashes in my game's text. The unicode is U+2014 and it's a punctuation mark that features in every major font, including the one I'm using. I have added it to the Font Range in the Font Properties box, and it is displayed there in the preview window.

However, when I use this character in my game, it doesn't appear - and in the HTML5 version it causes other elements of the game to glitch.

As always, any help appreciated.

have you tried an ascii 45? -

That's a hyphen or a minus sign, isn't it? Em-dashes are longer. Technically, you should never use a hyphen to break up sentences like I did in my OP!
