Windows Cant load game

I have a very simple game and when I click the play button it fully compiles but then does nothing. I have found two solutions for this online but neither of them work:

1. Enable Compile Cache: I can not find this option in preferences

2. Switching to the other runtime: This does not fix the problem

This is very frustrating and I dont know what to do. Please help!
