Mac OSX Building for mac results in damaged file

My computer (windows based) recently blew up and I installed GMS2 on my mac. When trying to build for mac it results in a file that's damaged and wont open.
Everything seems to be working fine on GMS2's part... I'm confused.

Anyone else who's experienced this? If so... did you solve it? If so... how?

One possibility is that the file has been quarantined. You can google search for the command to unquarantine it, or you can try dragging the file to your desktop and opening it using the right-click menu.

That, or make sure its code-signed.
