brothers at arms progress

    brothers at arms is a game i have been working on for two and a half terms
    it started of as a experiment but then i realized that it was pretty good and so i continued to develop it

    i fist got inspired from the game war thunder which is also a ww2 game to do with aircraft, ships and tanks

    what i want to add:
    • an arcade mode with randomly generated towns
    • a tank mode
    • a ship mode
    • lan
    • a fully fleshed out aircraft selection
    • to be able to unlock aircraft, ships and tanks
    • a campaign mode for every country
    • weather
    • ai enemy aircraft, tanks and ships
    • improved controls
    • more effects
    • possibly an infantry campaign
    known bugs
    • when the aircraft is destroyed the camera can still move around
    • when completed the level you can still move around
    • sprites get blurry when the shake effect is active
    current controls
    • arrow keys: move
    • right mouse: drop bomb/torpedo
    • left mouse: shoot defensive guns
    • f: full screen
    • g: window screen
    • h: exit game
    • r: restart game

    an FPS counter? That's easy.
    draw_text(view_xview,view_yview+2,"FPS: " + string(fps))

    i have tried that and it doesn't work for some reason

    What do you mean by "doesn't work"? To make a FPS counter, what you have to do is simply draw fps. If it doesn't show up, there might be a visibility or depth issue. [other reasons]
