Steam Black screen on running a game

Whether I try to run the most simple thing done by myself (following a tutorial) or a test game, I get a black screen with no sound or any other signs of anything happening at all. After closing it, I can see the message about the run being a success; there are obvious error messages in the log either.
I asked for advice on the Discord server and following the suggestions of updating my drivers or temporarily turning off the antivirus yielded no change in the situation, so I was redirected here.

Do you have more than one room and if so which room is default?
is it just this game or all games
do you have a visible object in the room?
create a new project, create a sprite, put it on an object and put the object it in the default room , run it
if it displays ok, then its something with the program, if it doesent its something with your default settings

could be a number of things, but you need to give way more info
can you post some errors pics
ill help if i can

It says build succeded.
Yes, I do have an object with a sprite, but no code.

Oneimare-san.

First of all, I am Japanese and my English is not very good.

In addition, I am new to gamemaker.

If you have done the fire jump in the tutorial, I ran into the same problem.

I think it must be the "room" setting.

The "House" symbol should be on the "Room" that you painted the background.

If it looks like the picture, it should be solved.

* If you create more than one "Room" when running the tutorial, you will get a "Black Screen".

I hope it works for you.
