Hi everyone, I'd love to introduce my new game called Black eyed bat. It is simple to learn, yet challenging game with retro graphics.

You control the Bat and trying to avoid obstacles which you can see only under "echolocation" for a second. If you manage to avoid it you get a point, if you dont - Game Over and retry ;)

Your ideas for improvement, questions, criticism or just compliments are welcome! After all I want to learn.

Try the game. It's worth a thousand pictures!

Hello, I'm actually trying to implement a game using echolocation right now at a gamejam and your post is the only post I can find when searching for echolocation, would you be willing to share how you implemented it?

This seems to be done with surfaces, maybe shaders.
My jam game also uses echolocation, but the simpler way.

As for the bat game, it seems solid, good job. Did you do it at the jam?
