Discussion Back to DnD when upgrading

So ill be honest, I'm still a novice when it comes to game maker but I got the hang of using GML instead of DnD. and for the most part I've been pretty satisfied with the transition. So now I started looking into GMS2 and. . .well I think I'll have to go back to the DnD. I think the primary reason for this is the change in a few view codes. Mainly the ones I've been using in GMS and GM 8,7,6 that are pretty much obsolete or changed. So I believe unless you're an expert on GML, Drag and Drop is probably your best friend.

(I'm only speaking from my perspective and pretty sure I'm just a trash developer)
