Windows Audio Emitters makes SFX dry??

I run into something strange as I'm trying to implement audio emitters and listeners. I have a sound with baked in reverb. When I play the sound with audio_play_sound everything sounds fine, but when I attach it to an emitter and do audio_play_sound_on, all the reverb disappears.

Any idea why? It makes no sense since its a baked in effect. It doesn't matter if its Mono or 3D. This issue also doesn't happen on 1.499999 for some reason

That sounds crazy, people pay for things that can remove baked in reverb,
Maybe the emitter has a threshold, so loud noises get heard from that distance but the reverb doesn't
other than that, sorry I dunno
