Question - General Anyone else having problems code signing native extension dylib's?

I don't codesign my dylib's I distribute on the marketplace because I leave it up to the developer to do that. Unfortunately I've had @Mr Giff, and iirc, perhaps other users I can't remember the usernames of, report to me, that my extensions aren't working on macOS, even after codesigning the dylib's.

Does this mean they have to download Xcode and rebuild from source code themselves and whitelist it from gatekeeper before they can codesign it and use it in their games? Because there is no way I'm paying Apple $100/year to codesign these dylib's when I'm not even making $100/year from them. I'd be losing money, not making it.
