GameMaker An object turns into a different object when I run the game

In the room, it shows as the objects it's supposed to be but when I run the game it turns the coin and score object into my main player object. p1 is in the room workspace, and p2 is the game running.

Try clearing the cache and running it again (little paint brush near the run button).

If that doesn't work, can you show all the code you have in the coin?

That didn't work, and I don't have any code in the coin I have it where if the player has a collision with the coin it adds to the score and then deletes the instance.

Also when I opened the project today it said that it was missing both objects the coin and score.

Sounds like a corrupt project. I guess you will just have to delete the old ones from the resource tree and create new ones.
