Hello. I've been working on this project since around April of '17 and feel it's progressed enough to show it and see what people think.

It's called Agos and was inspired by another GM game from years ago (Stick Online).

You start off without any items and progress by killing monsters. While killing monsters, you will earn XP and level your character. Each level giving you a point to use in one of four stats. Also by killing monsters, you have a chance at getting equipable items that will help in your progression.

There are two main item types to use. Hats and weapons. Each with their own unique look and attributes.

Along with fighting monsters, you may also fight any other players you may find around the map.

Basic trailer:

Couple of screenshots:

Along with weapons and hats, there are a few other items that can be obtained through NPCs.

This particular NPC isn't always around, and when he is, he is only there for a short period of time.

His merchandise:

You can visit the game's website for more information.

Thanks for checking out this post!

Including the client download link here instead of having you go to the website -> discord.

The server is usually up unless I'm doing something. Information about server status can be found on the discord.

Open Beta client download:

Be sure to add any firewall/antivirus exceptions for the client as well as running as administrator if you're having issues launching.

Just started a kickstarter for this project. Feel free to check that out as well.

Nobody really commented your thread, but your game actually looks pretty good fam! :D
Good luck with the rest! If I could suggest one thing, it's to make a falling animation alongside the jumping one.

How has hardly no one commented here? THIS LOOKS GREAT! I want to play this so badly! How did you make it online multiplayer?

Hm... you gotta like a guy whose screenshots include a user named "Doopliss".

I want that username. Can't believe I'd never thought of that before. Maybe I'll go with "Doo liss" instead.

Anyways, hopefully I don't forget to try it when I have time this weekend.

The open beta has been a blast, I hope more people come give it a try. It seems to be really well put together and set up for many future updates to come! What a nostalgic throwback to Stick Online.

Looks great.

Would love to know more about how the back-end development was devised. Looks pretty seamless.
