Discussion Adding Existing Rooms

Hello,

In the editor if you right click rooms you can add existing rooms.

Has anyone tried importing rooms they'd made in another project?

What does this import exactly? A room can be made of so many things (tilesets, sprites, objs, etc).

I tried to test this but GMS2 gives me the warning of "save and quit GMS2 has become unstable."

Adding a room from an existing project should also pull in the associated resources it needs, as long as it can find them on disk. Can you please file a bug using the Report a Bug link in the IDE. If you can host your project somewhere along with the project you are trying to add the room from that would be great.

Anything that pops up the unstable warning should be reported please.
