    Does gamemaker requires windows sdk & visual studio

    I have been practicing some codes of some games and they have compiled successfully but i cant see the output window i have set "windows" in the target section so do i need to install the windows sdk and the visual studio I'm new to this community so if it feels offtopic so I apologize for that
