I've been away from game maker for a while, i was surprised when i came back, that the old forum was gone. I've been off of game maker for nearly 3 years, what all has happened since i left the community?

3 years in review:

Russian gamblers besieged Yoyo and then hackers stole our credit cards so people raged because the gamejam had to be moved to a different date.

YAL is not a Moderator anymore.
True Valhalla is not a Moderator anymore.
Aura, and TsukaYuriko are new moderators, and they're both otakus.
Moogle-Girl, and Insert Name Here left.
We had some huge trolls, but they're banned now.
YoYoGames was bought by Playtech.
The forums got merged, as you know, and a lot of sub-forums have just been changed into "tags"/"categories" in all the same sub-forum.
And there was a huge Humble Bundle of GM:Studio that YOU MISSED!!

Game maker now supports shaders and compiles to android, ios, ps4, xboxone, and many other OS.

People stopped using 39dll and GM got its own networking functions. Now we have two networking solutions, both of which have UDP issues.

Oh, and BlueBurn turned GameMaker into Unreal Engine.
