Legacy GM Game Maker Studio Installation randomly uninstalling

Hey everyone,
I am having an issue with every time I shut down my computer Game Maker Studio is uninstalled. The help file is still there in the Game Maker Folder, and the Game Maker Player is still installed, but the Engine itself is gone. I have to reinstall the engine and it's really annoying because I don't have great bandwidth. Does anyone else have this problem? I am running Game Maker studio 1.4.1757 and it's a windows 10 machine.

There was a topic about a similar issue.
Someone mentioned that adding GameMaker: Studio to Windows Defender' whitelist fixed it for them.
If it's indeed Windows Defender, it's log should be mentioning something about this, and would also be extra unusual if it can now just uninstall whatever it wants now without any notice.
