Gameplay:
A fast paced, tactical and skillbased action platformer. Each unit has their own tactic to figure out, Knights need to block and then counter, Archer needs to maintain a distance, Shieldbearer needs to block incoming fire or push back the enemy team. Experiment and adapt!
Death makes you shift to the nearest solider so you get to know each unit.

Features:
  • Currently 8 playable Units, each with their own playstyle and skills.
  • Customizable battles, Unit count, Unit setup
  • Proper Ai that react to different scenarios, knows how to shield/counters, deflects/block arrows. Try fighting the ai in a duel to clearly see their reactions.
  • 2-4 Splitscreen coop or against each other
  • Gamepad support
  • 21:9 support
Controls:
  • Movement = WASD
  • Accept/Confirm = ENTER
  • Abilities = LEFT/ RIGHT MOUSE
  • Skill = F
  • Manually shift to nearest unit = SPACE
  • Pause = ESCAPE
Current todo list:
  • Campaign mode with different scenarios
  • More gamemodes (Aside from Deathmatch, Conquest, Capture the flag, Push)
  • More levels
  • More characters! So far Ive planned on 3 "Races" as a starting goal.
  • Human Kingdom (Knight, Archer, Shieldbearer etc...)
  • Animal Kingdom (Werewolf, Bear, Gorilla, Ostrich etc...)
  • Electric Kingdom, (Barbaric humanoids, with the power to wield electricity)
  • Medals, for double kills/ longshots / etc..
  • Improve artwork
  • More specific particle effects
  • Customisable controls
  • Army ultimate summons (catapult, dragon, tower etc..)
  • Improving AI, seek out healer if hurt, utilise skills better, and more.
  • Higher FPS support for 120/144/200hz monitors

Note: The princess is very incomplete. She can only heal and the AI loves dying.

Hey, I tried your game.

Gameplay looked promising. Could be really fun in multiplayer.
I think you should add fullscreen option, it was hard to see what was going on.

  • Added Shieldbearer ( WIP 2 Skills)
    • Shield/Bash (Hold to shield, Release to bash away the enemy)
    • Rush (Rush through the enemies using the shield. Taking no damage and negating incoming arrows)
  • Added Werewolf ( 3 Skills )
    • Slash (Variation in air)
    • Dive (Zips forward any enemy in the way)
    • Howl (immortal for the duration, increased dmg, movespd, jumpheight, rateoffire)
  • Added Knight skill (Blast)
  • Added Archer skill (Glue Arrow, Fires arrow with a small carpet with sticky glue on. Stops your enemies completely for a short time)
  • Added Crossbowman skill (Poison dart, Fires a fast loaded dart that poisons all enemies in a line)

  • Imporved parallax scrolling
  • Improved main menu
  • Improved screen scaling to different monitors

Thank you, Local multiplayer is now implemented. Lots of challenges, unlockables and a campaign will be added!
You can activate full screen by pressing ALT-ENTER or the F4 key. Ive activated it by default now. Also you can change fullscreen in the settings.

UPDATE
  • Added Ostrich
    • -Peck (High damage)
    • -Kick (Low damage, Push the enemy away
    • -Feather (Shoots multiple feather like a shotgun, the closer they are the more damage)
    • Passive (Hover's in air)
  • Added Bear
    • Paw attack (Slow, high damage)
    • Charge attack (High damage, Psuh back)
    • Bear trap (Bear traps are of course used by bears to trap their enemies!)
    • Passive (Can not be interrupted when attacking, only when low on health)
  • Added flashing healthbar when low on health


The Ostrich legs are now longer! Looks less like a duck now!
