 GameMaker 2.0.6 keeps crashing

Hi guys, please help and I have been stuck about a week. As long as I update to 2.0.6(including 2.0.6.146 and the second latest version), game maker studio just keeps crashing in the start page when it try to install the runtime. The method I have tried:
1. reboot;
2. restart;
3. delete old version clearly and re-install;
4. delete runtime and restart;
5. change to Steam version;
Unfortunately, none of those works. Here is my ui.log, please help me (crying...).

Same here! I updated to 2.06 today and now I can't open the program at all, I get the standard Windows 'XXX has stopped working' error immediately on launch. Have also tried delete/reinstall to no avail. I just bought GMS:2 and now I can't use it -_- someone please help!

Okay, a couple more restarts and some uninstalls and I got it working again. I'm not sure which of these steps may have solved the problem, but here's what I did:

- Uninstalled GameMaker Studio via the start menu (I had already tried this before as mentioned above)
- Deleted GameMaker Studio folder in C:\ProgramData\
- Uninstalled AVG on a lark after reading about possible firewall problems, although I had it running fine along AVG in the past
- Restart
- Downloaded a fresh installer from the My Account page of yoyogames.com

after that the install proceeded without problems and I could open a project successfully, which is where it all went wrong the first time (when install seemed to go ok, but upon trying to open a project from the recent projects menu, it crashed, and after that I couldn't open the program again even through uninstall/reinstall).

I could still supply logs from Windows Event Viewer if that will help anyone. To the op I would suggest looking into antivirus program issues or maybe deleting the ProgramData\GameMakerStudio2 folder when uninstalling as it is not deleted by the uninstall client. But to be fair I have no idea if either thing is really related to what is causing the issue.
