Can I export my project without having a Team Identifier?

I've been at this for hours trying to export my game for mac, so I can share it with my friends. I feel like this whole process just to export a game is ridiculous. Maybe I'm missing something? I don't know. But how can I export my game to a Dmg file from my PC.

Hey Dylan - do you have a Mac available to you?

You need to have access to a Mac computer to build your project for that platform - though you don't necessarily have to work on the Mac (you can build over the network). This allows you to use cloud-based solutions to accomplish this all as well.

Hi Brian, Thanks for responding. Yes I do have access to a mac computer. I setup my targets and have both my mac and pc on the same network. When I got to create Executable with a macOS target, the output tells me FAILED: Package Program Complete... Not sure what this means

Are you trying to export from your Windows-based PC to your Macbook Pro for building? For some reason this was a GIANT headache for me when it actually came to making packages - the simple solution ended up being installing the GMS2 IDE onto my Mac and using GitHub ( you could just use a networked folder ) to access it on my Mac whenever I want to make a package.

Might be useful to look at the content C:\ProgramData\GameMakerStudio2\ui.log or /Users/Shared/GameMakerStudio2/ui.log (depending on whether it's Windows or Mac IDE) for (hopefully) more detailed information.

Are you trying to export from your Windows-based PC to your Macbook Pro for building? For some reason this was a GIANT headache for me when it actually came to making packages - the simple solution ended up being installing the GMS2 IDE onto my Mac and using GitHub ( you could just use a networked folder ) to access it on my Mac whenever I want to make a package.
Sorry if my responses have been a bit miss leading. The main thing I want to accomplish is to execute my project as a .dmg and be able to share it to friends. I have no issue doing that from my windows desktop as a .exe ..... I have installed GMS2 IDE on my mac computer, and tried to execute my project to a .dmg but I get errors. Would it still be worth trying out GitHub, I wasn't sure what you meant by "exporting from windows-based PC to Macbookpro for building".
