Graphics Issue with the Same Animation Style?

I have a doubt with our animation style ("Our" because as i'm one single person, i'm not alone, i have my friend on my arms)

We naturally animate at 8 fps, but there's a problem...

We taken the animation style from something else! That is also 8 fps...

...Isn't wrong? Isn't copyrighted? If is it, we have other animation style and will use that instead of the 8 fps one...

But the 8 fps one is easier than the other one...

But i guess characters and full stories are copyrighed.

Also, i guess Temmie Chang animates at a similar style... she learned to animate in this way, me too.
