Core Run is an endless running game aimed for mobile, but the buttons are not implemented yet.

Beware!!
The game scrolls too fast that may get you dizzy.
Is it recommended to don't play for too long (more than 10 minutes).

Controls: Arrow keys: UP and DOWN, Mouse for menus, Enter to pause or start.

This is oddly addicting. Played for about 15 minutes. I have a few notes...
- Game was way too loud, perhaps having the master gain at 50% instead of full (having option to change later on)
- Keep the background track playing, instead of it resetting every time you die (I figure this is due to room restart function or something..)
- Sometimes some of the obstacles seem 'impossible' to have made. Maybe I'm just bad though..

All in all, would be great as a mobile game!

yeah, gotta fix the volume and music thingy, about the obstacles... most of them are hard or unfair, but possible.

• There's no menu/pause screen
• It's SO LOUD! Why is it so loud?!
• Pretty small resolution and locked at 30 FPS?
-- I'm guessing this is going to be ported over to mobile.
• The character design ain't too shabby, but the animation for running probably could be improved.
-- That's just me.
• The endless geometry generation could use some work.
-- That being said, I like the way it spawns in and destroys itself in the fashion it does.
• I feel as if it ran at 60 FPS, it'd be more responsive to play.
-- And if you could full screen it.
• It's a decent start, but can use a lot of work.
• Here's me playing the game (I got around 1200 points);

Well, gotta explain some stuff now (long post below).
The main menu is one of the things I was coding right now for the credits system (not done yet, but added some nice features).
sorry about the music and sound, I usually make it too loud >.<
The resolution is low, because the graphics are way too small and the space is more than enough (or maybe not, idk help)
The game is actually planned for mobile! :D
I'm planning to update the graphics somehow, still no idea how to...
about the 60 fps, I recently added a 2X speed and Lighting buttons for a real challenge
Fullscreen = hold (Left alt)+Enter
and well, still working on the random patterns, sometimes it gets to troll you.

This is pretty addictive. I really love it and it's in list of the games I'm going to play often.. :)

Add some help to the game (F1 button) so the user knows how to fullscreen etc. For the moment this is all I got to say. I may add some more suggestions later.

Thanks, the music wasn't made by myself, they are edits in short versions to save memory in the file. You can find them from the rockman X soundtrack.

by the way...

I have to announce that the development of this game has ben CANCELLED. or well... being REMADE! into a 3D Game!
I will start updating the topic with early screenshots and some videos.

Considering there is no complicated surfaces in the 2d version, converting it into 3d wouldn't be that hard. I mean the collision detection part of it is going to be simple. Although I think it is better to finish the 2d version and then go for the 3d version.
